A clean home, is a clear mind.
A deep cleaning in a residential helps to reduce allergens which in turn reduces breathing issues. Additionally, deep cleanings are a detail cleaning of all collectables, furniture and continues to the bones of the house’s, trim, footboards & walls in all rooms. Deep cleanings are best to be done when: you notice build up behind large unmoved furniture; after pollen season has ended in the late spring/ early summer; or prior to renting a property out for the summer season.
A routine cleaning is beneficial to reduce the buildup of dust, improves air quality and keeps a house from needing a deep cleaning. A routine cleaning is a continuance of upkeep by cleaning collectibles, and furniture in a home that has previously been deep cleaned. Typically, as time passes after a deep cleaning, we do a partial deep clean to a different room each time we visit your home. Routine cleanings are best every other to every three weeks after the initial deep cleaning and thereafter.
A realty ready or move in move out cleaning is a residential home with no, to minimal furniture where we are wet dusting all trim/molding, doors, ceiling fans, beams, lights shelving, baseboards. We will clean forced air heat vent or electric baseboard heat elements upon request. We clean the interior of windows including the window wells and the slider tracks. Additionally, we clean the large kitchen appliances and will clean behind upon request with a signed moving large furniture waiver. We are the final stage of removing the previous owner/renter completely from your new home.
Rental cleanings, also known as turnover cleanings in the Cape Cod vacation rental business, are essential to the health and safety of all your guests to eliminate possible lingering bacteria, fungus, and viruses on surfaces throughout the property. Equally vital is knowing the renting guest has in essence left the property similar to how they found it, we provide photos records of any damage or questionable issues. Cape Cod Cleaning upholds to the highest grade of sanitization using sterilizing cleaning products on ALL surfaces; additionally, we spray an aerosol disinfectant called Biotab that kills 99.9% of all corona viruses including Covid-19. Biotab is safe to ingest or inhale and does not affect people with sensitivities to other chemicals. It is best to have a turnover cleaning done right after the last rental guest leaves both for immediate sterilization and to insure if there was any damage by guest it is within the window to collect any necessary security deposit monies. (A deep cleaning or inspection of owner’s deep cleaning is required prior to turnover cleaning contract. Also, there are no Eco-friendly options provided for turnover cleanings due to the need for safety and sterilization protocols).
After you have had construction done in a house the house typically has wood, sheetrock and/or other building material dust that has blown as high up as the air travels and to the floor. In order to breath clean air especially without allergens a few wet dustings from ceiling to floor is necessary. The dust can be so fine that it usually takes a few wet dustings of the ceilings, walls, and floors to get it all right after all construction has been 100% completed so it does not need to be repeated.
Decluttering & organizing bring one peace, reduces stress, increases self-esteem, and it creates positive habits for a happier life, living with & for less. It is a systematic process to gently go through one’s possessions one at a time with the goal to reduce ownership of things that have overcrowded one’s home and given an untidy atmosphere over time, and to give what remains a simple look where everything has a function and a place. Deciding to declutter & organize is a life changing moment when one has come to realizes that the anxiety of having too many collectables, and piles of to-dos is over taking their home and over-powering one’s ability to get through on ones own. We are happy to guide you through this monumental moment of less IS more!
Due to Covid protocols it is good for businesses with more than one staff member to be cleaned regularly. Our commercial cleaning includes sterilizing every staff’s individual workspace and shared spaces with heavy disinfectants. We make sure to sterilize all handles, light switches, knobs, areas of the door most touched by the hand, as well as the traditional sterilizing of bathrooms. We use a high-powered vacuum head to keep the carpeting free from dirt build up. These jobs are typically done in the evening to minimize distraction and effect on employee production. If there is concern about a Covid exposure in the work place we can provide extra service to ensure the risk is removed from the surfaces of the building
For customers who are sensitive to fragrances we stick to basic cleaners that can disinfect and get rid of any grime or dirt. For wet dusting we use Murphy’s oil to clean personal affects, cabinets, and furniture. For mopping and countertops or other non-wood surfaces we use blue Dawn as a cleaner and degreaser. For glass/mirrors we use distilled white vinegar. While we acknowledge these are not sterilizing products, they are disinfectants that do kill some bacteria and viruses. We recommend this option only for private residences and DO NOT offer this in rental properties.
